At Mosi, we don't just make gin — we shape it with Iceland itself.
Our vision was bold from the beginning: to take a refined, handcrafted gin and expose it to the wildest forces nature can offer. Not in a lab. Not in a cellar. But out in the raw extremes of Iceland — inside a glacier and atop a volcano. Two opposing worlds. One spirit.

Our barrels are filled with our custom-crafted base gin — distilled in small batches with botanicals chosen for unique ability. Then we age the same gin in two vastly different places: the former searing, shifting volcanic slopes of Eldfell in the Westman Islands, and the frozen stillness deep inside Langjökull glacier. We then let weathering process play its part and the results are astonishing.
Each barrel is chosen for character. We use casks that once held vermouth, mezcal, sauternes, Islay whisky, and more. The gin absorbs the echoes of each spirit and merges it with the signature of its environment. No two batches are the same. No year is the same this is vintage gin and this is weathered gin. No other gin in the world is made this way at least to our knowledge.

Why go to such lengths?
Because Iceland is more than our backdrop — it's our collaborator.
Mosi is named after the Icelandic moss that survives against all odds — slow-growing, resilient, thriving in the harshest conditions. It’s a symbol of everything we stand for: quiet strength, rooted innovation, and a deep connection to our land.
We aren’t trying to create another gin brand. We’re building a story in every bottle — one that begins in the wild and ends in your glass. Whether you sip it at a world-class bar or discover it on a windswept trail in Iceland, you’re tasting a unique spirit flavoured by land, sea, fire and Ice in essence flavoured by Iceland.
